I have always liked the NIV translation for its clarity. It is both accurate and easy to understand. I am thrilled to find a Study Bible that is not only the NIV translation but also has study notes written from a confessional Lutheran perspective. This is the Bible I would recommend for confessional Lutherans as a primary Study Bible. The illustrations and timelines are very helpful as well.
