Pure Flix Entertainment, LLC Travel the Road: Season One, DVD

Travel the Road tells the dramatic story of Tim Scott and Will Decker on an epic year and a half quest to preach the gospel to the end of the earth. From the forbidding Himalayas of Tibet to the sweltering jungles of Cambodia, every step of their real-life adventure is presented in stunning detail. There were no film crews or safety teams to help them along the way as the missionaries themselves captured every frame of footage. Travel the Road is an unscripted, inspiring journey through twenty-five countries that has motivated a generation to action and helped spur a modern day movement for overseas missions. Season One features 12 Episodes on 4 DVDs and over 500 minutes of footage.

I have just discovered "Travel The Road" and I am hooked! I am halfway through Season One and I am just taken back of all the sacrifices of these two young men. They give up everything to answer God's call. I believe this is a wake up call to youth and adults alike. "Time is Short!" What are we doing about it?

A real look into the true missionary lifestyle. It really opens your eyes to what missionary life is all about and how many people really need to hear the gospel. I would definitely recommend this to everyone!

Travel the Road is fantastic! This show takes Americans around the world, country by country, revealing some of the history and real-life conditions that people live in. It also shows what we can do to reach people with the love of Christ in these various countries. I have recommended this series to many people. It challenges all of us to consider the desperate needs of people in many different nations. These episodes can really give teens and young adults a vision for how they can use the gifts and intelligences that God has given them to make an eternal difference in people's lives who are hurting and empty. My daughter has been very intrigued by this show, and it has been an encouragement to her as she prepares to go to Cambodia for ministry this summer!

I applaud the young men for what they are doing - what an adventure but what I have watched seems very drawn out and repetitive. Maybe further episodes will improve. Lots of travel and some information about countries but long.
