This movie was inspiring, thought provoking, and biblically correct. If we had an encounter with Jesus, what would he say to us and what we would say to him? Would we accept him or reject him? Anyway I enjoyed this movie five stars for the actors and the movie itself.

We watched this movie with low expectations, and it pleasantly surprised us. Granted, the plot is thin, and the actors are far from first-class, but the message is solid. I have recommended it to others, and they, too, were thrilled with the movie.

I actually saw this movie on TBN on television. I recorded on the dvr, and watched it 2 or 3 times from the dvr. I then searched for the movie online and found it here, and found it for $4.99. What a deal. If you have never seen this movie, I highly recommend it. Our church is planning on showing this movie at our monthly movie night. But I do recommend to watch this movie when you won't be interrupted and have the time to watch the entire movie. It has an incredible story to it.

Very low budget. Really bad acting. There's a girl who is playing a part of a homeless girl, who claims she has been on her own for a while. She is wearing $5000 braces. Although the movie has a decent message it is hard not to laugh at the acting.

I have seen this actor portray Jesus before, and I truly appreciate the warmth, sincerity, compassion and joy (laughter) that he shows in his character. I would picture Jesus truly being much like this person portrays. So many Christian movies show Jesus to be more somber, with very little personality. I can picture this Jesus rolling on the ground with the healed paralytic, rejoicing with great joy and laughter, because He loves him so much. He is the Jesus that would attract people to Himself because of His great love and compassion. I really enjoyed this movie!

This movie exceeded my expectations! It is now a favorite for my husband and I. It's so refreshing and encouraging to see Christian movies done well and with such accuracy. The Encounter TRULY touched my soul like no other movie I have seen.

I enjoyed this movie. It was good acting and had a good story. I enjoyed how Jesus explained answers to all the characters questions. We liked it so much we ordered the other one but found it was not nearly as good.

This movie has to be one of the top best made movies. If you could what would you talk to Jesus about at a diner? These people had that chance. It will keep you on the edge of your seat. This is a must have family movie. And the main star is the king of Kings!

I really liked the film. I even believe it has a God 'anointed' presence in its viewing, meaning I believe God can use it to draw people to His only chosen means of relationship, His Son's cross. However, it is not to be taken (nor do I believe Pureflix or those involved want for it to be taken) as clear Biblical theology or doctrine. There is clearly alot of deception going on in our world right now, and Christ warned us there would be. But people in Muslim countries and places where there is very little Biblical teaching are having dreams and visions of Christ that lead them to the cross. I believe God loves people enough to give them every opportunity to turn to Him and not be separated from Him forever. Good film, but follow it up with good Biblical teaching. Love your work Pureflix. This generation needs the truth of God's love brought out in creative ways. Very good acting and production.

I recently watched this while waiting to go to work. I was amazed with the story, the message, the acting, and the clarity of it. If fact later that same night I told my wife about it and we watched it together. I'm impressed and I highly suggest watching this and passing it along to friends. Might want to buy a second copy :)

I watched this movie with a family from church. We all loved it and are soon buying the next one. It uses common life events and biblical scriptures to encourage and lead us to make the right choices and seek God's perfect plan for our lives and to be attentive to His voice and guidance every day. Very good acting and script. Wonderful message and witnessing tool.

The acting in this can be corny at times, and the filming isn't as people expect from a main stream film. However the message in this is awesome! We loved this movie, and the actor in this movie who plays Jesus does a great job playing Jesus. It has a great message, and makes you think! Loved this movie, would recommend it.
