I've been meaning to watch this movie as I had it saved on my DVR from a time ago; it was on JCTV for those who are curious. Anyway, I liked Jefferson Moore in the movie Clancy, and I heard good things about this movie too. The Perfect Stranger I couldn't help, but find to be a curious idea as it sort of reminded me of the concept behind The Encounter only a different actor playing Jesus and only one person was talking to him.
The Perfect Stranger is about a stressed out lawyer named Nikki. She comes into work and sees on her desk an invitation to have dinner with Jesus Christ. At first she's creeped out thinking it was "one of her crazy Christian neighbors", but laughs it off thinking it was her husband inviting on a date her due to the fight they had earlier in the morning. She figures "why not?" since her daughter'll be at a sleepover and she loves the food at Pepino's Restaurant. When she gets there though, her husband isn't there and it is as the invitation said "a Dinner with Jesus Christ".
I thought this was pretty good, though I would say The Encounter was better about using this "if you could have dinner with Jesus Christ what would you ask him?" concept, even though The Perfect Stranger is based on the original book by David Gregory. I think Jefferson Moore is a very good actor in this film as well and the woman who plays Nikki is decent at times too. The camera work isn't the best, but then again this is a low-budget film and the concept for the film isn't supposed to have anything worth using CGI's for so what do you expect right lol? I liked most of what was talked about during their dinner conversation, some might find it controversial Jesus was drinking wine *gasp*, I thought a few of the questions could have gone a little better in that they didn't talk about Evolution much, but maybe they did that for the sequel Another Perfect Stranger, I'll have to find out. Overall this was a pretty decent movie, though I'd say this is definitely for the adults as the kids might find this to be boring.

I couldn't pull myself away from this one! What would I ask or say if I sat down with Jesus? I enjoyed this movie so much that I immediately went to my computer to order it. I'm going to use it as a witness tool for my family and friends.

I loved this movie. The ending was wonderful and a lot of questions that you might be asking yourself about Jesus and God are answered.
Everyone with an enquiring mind will probably enjoy this movie as it is well acted but younger children I think will
be bored with it (not enough action). Mature teenagers will probably enjoy it. I am sure all adults will enjoy it.

This movie dismisses many arguments unbelievers may have about God and His existence, but it is done in an engaging way. It is a great evangelism tool. It provides great answers and truth for those who are seeking or confused, as well as for those who doubt God exists at all. The acting is mediocre. My husband wasn't very interested in seeing it because of the fact that the reality of Christ actually appearing on earth pre-second coming is not biblical, but I told him it is fiction in that respect. All-in-all an exceptional movie and one I will watch again and definitely pass along to many.

When I purchased this movie I was a little worried because many "Christian" movies are poorly acted and poorly directed. Not so with this one! Very well done and I purchased 3 so I could give them as gifts this Christmas.

My husband and I loved this movie so much, we just bought 12 to give to unsaved friends and family as witnessing tools - and a few for saved frinds and family just to share a wonderful movie! "Jesus" is so warm, caring and personable in this movie - and addresses all the popular objections - just as I imagine the real Jesus to be.

The Perfect Stranger is an awesome video, what a privilege it would be to sit and have dinner with Jesus and be able to ask him anything. I think anyone that watches this video will be blessed by it and any misconceptions they would have about Jesus would cause them to reconsider why they believe what they believe.

While looking for something interesting to watch a few days before Christmas, I came upon this movie in the local cable preview guide. I can only say that I was so touched by what I saw that I requested the DVD as a Christmas gift and have viewed it many times. Well writen and very scriptual, I would recommed this film to anyone regardless of their faith or belief system.

Well done. I was pleasantly surprised at the format. Acting was very good. Good answers to typical questions like, why would God allow suffering, why did God need Jesus to reconcile man back to God, and much more.

The Perfect Stranger is a wonderful christian movie-one of my favorites. I watched it many times simply because it answers well many questions questioning/seeking people ask about being saved or about religion. I've recommended it to others, as I am so very glad someone recommended it to me. It is a wonderful story.

An excellent movie, well thought out that answers the most asked questions asked by Atheists and skeptics about God, the universe, Christ and Salvation. A wonderful witnessing tool, and could be shown at any Church youth group.
