Great film. Two plots intertwined into one powerful story. Production was good, director and screenwriter excellent job handling such a painful topic. Acting was excellent and believable ( even gang members, sometimes that falls short in films). Shows God's faithfulness as we sometimes struggle through devastating life events that leave us numb and frozen as everything goes on around us. Great surprize ending. Tough to sit through the anguish, but as with most good films , it leads to a better place. the title does'nt so much reference the initial Salvation experience ( coming to the Cross) as it does God's power to bring us (save us) through even the most difficult of trials. But God is held high throughout the film. Caution for violence and minor rude language (necessary and not gratuitous-construction sight and gang violence in a PG setting) 'PG' for that and adult themes.

My wife and I would give this DVD a nine out of ten. We liked it as it glorified God all the way through the movie. The acting was good. The story was believable. I really enjoyed a character called Uncle Willie. Over all I would say for a sincere Christian, this DVD would help them and their faith. If you buy it I believe you will enjoy it.
