This DVD features Wherever You Are, based on a story written by Max Lucado. The film is 17-minutes long and is followed by a presentation of the gospel by Max himself. The film tells a new prodigal story through "Katherine", a young woman who makes all the wrong choices only to be welcomed home by her loving father. This emotional tale of rebellion and redemption is a wonderful illustration of God's love for us as outlines in John 3:16. Closed captions. Widescreen. Approx 30 minutes.

I liked this movie. It was a tender story of the relationship between a father and his daughter. It was also a real eye opener for someone that doesn't understand the loving grace of our heavenly father. Great story to share with your highschool youth group.

Very good. Would recommend to adult Christian audience. To see a Father's unconditional love and forgiveness when she left home w/o telling him where she was going. He must have gone through much anguish and emotional pain to the point of finding where she was, but patiently waiting for her to return. Love won out. Such an example of the Father God's love for us, as He patiently waits for us to turn to Him.

Max Lucado, a Church of Christ pastor, teaches an easy-believism gospel and his books are shallow and light and fluffy. If you enjoy light reading and female fiction, you will probably love Lucado. But if you are looking for deeper, look elsewhere: to John Piper, Michael Horton and John Calvin.

I ordered this because of the author and was pleased. It is about 30 minutes long and says alot in the 30 minutes. I have three daughters and we all thought that it was good. The acting was ok, but the point of the film was made.
