Customer Reviews for Moody Publishers George Mueller

Moody Publishers George Mueller

George Mueller (1805-1898) was a leader in the Plymouth Brethren movement in England and a founder of Christian orphanages. This story tells of his conversion to the Christian faith and his subsequent ministry to orphans in Bristol. Starting small, Mueller was eventually housing, educating and training 2,000 boys and girls. His faith in God's ability to provide for his work and the children offers some astounding stories of how God works daily miracles. A good book of faith and encouragement.

it is a little hard to read, because it just goes from character to character. The content and story of his life is very much worth reading. Truly a faith builder.

Written in a style that draws you to read it, short enough so that it allows you to finish it in a few hours, but with depth to inspire. George Mueller continued to work for the Lord after
he was 71 and turned the orphanages over to other people, amazing story of God`s direction.

This is a quick easy read for 10 year old through 95 year olds. It is a little different approach than just a factual biography, as the author makes it more of a story line. In any case it is well worth your time to see the way God used this simply faithful man for His glory and the good of 10,000 orphans.
As a 25 year old young adult I was inspired by Mueller's biography as most of his major life decisions started around 25. I bought this book for 7 friends.
