This was exactly was I was seeking in a compact Bible. The size enables me to slip it into the back pocket of my jeans. The snap closure prevents the pages from being ripped out when storing the Bible in my back pocket or a briefcase or a backpack. The print contrast is excellent. By that I mean...Thomas Nelson publishers used enough ink on the pages to make the text readable. I have a compact Bible published by another company that used too little ink such that the print is very faint. Not so with this Bible. Good contrast means I can read it.

If you have trouble with small print this may not be for you. This is a great size for my daily commute on the train. The page marker ribon is handy and the snap keeps it protected when in my bag. Very pleased.

This is a pocket-sized Bible that's perfect for carrying in a purse. I purchased this one because the previous one I had had torn where the snap is on the front flap. I expect that this Bible from CBD will last longer because it has a bigger snap than the previous one we had purchased at the mall near here.
