Word Entertainment Inc Lyle, The Kindly Viking, VeggieTales DVD

The VeggiePlayers present . . . a musical version of Hamlet! Can Junior Asparagus prove that sharing---not pillaging and plundering---gives us more of what we really want? Friends! Approx. 60 minutes.

A great movie that teaches about kindness and how to be helpful even when you grow up with selfishness around you.

Since we purchased these Veggie Tales DVD's the children can't wait for Sunday School to be over so they can go to Children's church. Some are already asking on Monday if today is "church"?

Veggies are awesome! Just ask my 3 year old, he loves them. My teenagers will stop and watch if it's on and why not, it entertains all ages.

I am so glad Big Idea went back to the original format for this show. Ester was very good; however, how can you say its a Veggie Tale without a silly song ("Puppies" doesn't really cut it now, does it).The DVD is well worth getting. Not only do you get the durability of acrylic over cellulose (if your child(ren) likes to watch the story 3 or 4 times in a sitting you know why this is important). You also get a behind the scenes, a widescreen version of Top Hat, and story board sketches. Its great.

I loved this episode of Veggie Tales. Bob, Larry and the whole gang are back with a lesson on sharing (who doesn't need that?). Archibald Asparagus wants to host an episode and Bob and Larry reluctanty let him. With a little help from the French Peas, Archibald hosts the first all-veggie cast of "Omelet" and Gilbert and Sullivan's lost musical "Lyle the Kindly Viking". I thought that "Omelet" was very funny. The humor comes mostly from "borrowing" lines from "Hamlet" by Shakespeare and "yolking" it up. The kids may not get all of them, but the adults will love it. The second half, "Lyle the Kindly Viking" will appeal more to the kids. Overall, I'd say, this is my third-favorite episode out of all of them.
