Word Entertainment Inc Journey to Grace: The Hansie Cronje Story, DVD

Hansie Cronje was at the top of his game. As a champion South African cricket player, he had earned renown and respect for himself, the sport, and his country. Then he was lured into a notorious match-fixing scandal---and he wondered, "Can God ever forgive me?" Based on a stunning true story of redemption and grace. Two DVDs, 120 minutes total.

This is no "Faith like Potatoes" even though it is a mirror in setting, actors, and production quality. In Faith like potatoes, you had a story of a life turnaround and then great things were accomplished for the Lord. In this film, you have a turn around because he got caught, but nothing more. Not an inspiring story. Acting, film quality, and script are all very good, it just is not a memorable story. This one goes on the shelf to be seldom pulled down to be seen again.

When I said I would recommend the dvd--it is a moderate yes. Some parts where good but not great. So if you have bought all the other dvd's you want and still have some money left over then go ahead but don't make it a priority.
