For years I've wanted to share Nancy Leigh Demoss's study Lies Women Believe and the truth that sets them free. When I saw the DVD set was on sale I sent for it and found it to be just what I was hoping. Biblical truth shared along with personal testimonies from women who have found that God's way is always best. I can't wait to share these DVD's with my Ladies Sunday School class as well as a neighborhood Bible study we hold every fall/winter at our church.

When I first started to listen to the DVD set I was disappointed because it was entirely too long to use in an hour class and also seemed outdated. The speaker must have taped this years ago and the hair and clothing showed it. However, by the time I finished reading the book the DVD was better. I would like to see shorter segments and an updated version!

Nancy Leigh's message is strong; however it is fast paste. I was not pleased with the quality of DVD. Final opinion, "over prized".

The material in this DVD is very good and really gets to the heart of the matter for women's issues. The down side is that the video was produced over 10 years or more ago so if you were thinking of using it for a group study it's not as dynamic as it could be. It's somewhat dated. The DVD appears to be one segement of an overall conference of material. Would like to see the speaker update and reshoot the video again. I know she has revised the book. Still good info for personal use.

This is the second time in 9 years I'm using Lies Women Believe in a women' bible class. It is powerful. The first time in 2002 I used a video and liked it better because I was breaking it up into segments following with a booklet that came with the video. the DVD did not contain the booklet and also can't be put into segments we are also using the book and companion guide alongside the DVD. I'ts a very good study.

Amazing. Awesome. I love this set. She gets at the heart of the matter. I think every woman should watch this series at least once a year to refresh her memory and start each year filling their lives with Truth. I wish I could buy a set for each one of my friends.
