The animation is wonderful; the story is also wonderful & faithful to actual events. I showed this to a group of children: age 3 thru grade 5 and it held everyone's interest. Bonus features contain an hour-long documentary on Gladys complete with photos, sketches, narration, and audio of Gladys herself. (I believe it is "Gladys Aylward: The Small Woman with a Great God" verbatim.) I only wished I had known that since I also purchased that DVD when I got this Torchlighter one.

This is an awesome cartoon video of the missionary life of Gladys Aylward. Sticks very close to the true story. I loved the extra bonus of the biography of her life. Refreshing to have "good" cartoons to show my kids.
