Vision Video The Cyrus Call, DVD

This vision, supported by the great Christian Revivalists and Bible Teachers such as the Wesley brothers, Charles Simeon, Robert Murray McCheyne, C.H. Spurgeon and Bishop J. C. Ryle, was based on the Covenants of Promise as well as other prophetic Scriptures found in the Bible. In The Cyrus Call, Australian author Kelvin Crombie, together with Israeli academics and British churchmen, presents the story of how this outworking of Britain's Christian heritage was intertwined with her geo-political objective in the Middle East. Approx. 107 minutes.

This is an excellent documentary on Israeli/British History.
It is a wonderful supplement to any High School Social Studies
curriculum in regards to Israel - as I have seen very little accuracy when it comes to this subject in the Homeschool.
The only reason I give it 4 stars is because I do not quite agree with the Epilogue at the end, however it is very minor.
The overall tenor of the documentary was carefully and accurately put together. I highly recommend this product.

I saw this DVD on late night TV and it was fascinating. It shows how important the Christian Church's role was in restoring Israel. It shows how history and theology intersect to bring about God's greater purposes. It shows how the people of that day interpreted Scripture and how that impacted the Middle East.
