I've used this book for years as a devotional and have purchased many as gifts. It's filled with lovely background information and beautiful Celtic Christian poetry and prayers.

With an introduction by Richard Foster this book sets a frame to havein Foster's words " a portable chapel of prayer".. Rich in text and poetic prayers..this book is a treasure for all who will dip into it and use it daily, hourly or seasonally!! It is a whole lifetime of collectedprayers, tested and found true and deeply comforting. High praiseto the Father, Son and Holy Spirit...
