My daughters (5 and 7 years old), watched this 2 times in one sitting before I had to pull the plug. It was all they wanted to watch for a few weeks. They ask alot more questions about missionaries and other countries and other religions. Be prepared for tough questions but also a stronger faith. Awesome video and I can't wait to try others in the series.

We've enjoyed this new series from Voice of the Martyrs that brings heroes of the faith to a 30-minute video for kids. We've shown most of them to our Awana kids at church, 8-12 years old, and the age range seems appropriate. An understanding of the time period, culture, and importance of the gospel are present in the videos that make you feel like you are a part of the story. This focuses on one event in Amy's life, when she first became aware of the need to rescue temple orphans. While remaining true to the story, the writers add a little humor with a monkey and some suspense as the orphan is trying to escape, which makes it easy for the children to stay focused on the video. It is well-done, and great to have a true Christian story from another culture to share in a kid-friendly format.
