This movie deals with an emotionally disturbed young girl who is fostered and ultimately adopted by a faithful mother. The movie has some tough scenes at the beginning, but overall I found it to be pretty good. There was some inconsistency with the parenting of the girl and the biological son. The son is a bit spoiled whereas the girl is held accountable. But I don't tend to look towards movies about how to discipline my children. I would recommend it for children 8 and above. There are some sweet moments, and it was nice to think about how God can use animals to reach a child.

This was no nice Christmas movie. Children were shown as being cruel. The parents were ineffective. There was no correction or discipline. Wouldn't let my grandchildren watch this!
