Zondervan Invisible War, The

An exploration of the great conflict going on between good and evil within the spiritual realm. Dr. Barnhouse carefully traces this vast spiritual conflict back to the period before the beginning of recorded time. Step by step, he then follows its unfolding to the final battle at the end of time. Here are answers to questions that have long troubled thinking people - concerning the trials, sufferings, and difficulties of life - with added helpful suggestions for facing life's obstacles.

One of the best books I have ever read. Dr. Barnhouse makes revelations that would never cross my mind. This book has lifted up my spirit and given me a much better understanding of God's Word. I bought this book because Chuck Missler said it was a must read. Thanks, Chuck.

This book had my interest from the very beginning to end. Taught me a reality that is drown out from the day to day obligations of life. Gave a perspective on the spiritual war going on around us every second of every day that I otherwise would not have known. I have read it twice already. Will definitely read again.

This book is awesome. It explains so much about why life is the way it is, and how it got this way.
The author is very descriptive and as I read the book I feel as if I am right there watching the scenes unfold before my eyes. This is one of the most important Christian books I've ever read. I think that every serious Christian should read this book and would benefit from doing so.
Some women may feel that the author is sexist in the beginning, but I attribute his writing style to be a sign of the time of when it was written, 1965. He definately proves he's not sexist on page 99 of his book.

The Invisible War is a wonderful read! I am sure its a thorn in Satan's side. Barnhouse explains himself thoroughly, as he uses Scripture to show his claims.

The Invisible War is a facinating book that explains much of what takes place in the spiritual realm. It is biblically sound, makes a lot of sense, and helped me to better understand the reasons for a lot of what takes place in life. I found the information to be gripping and useful.

For we wrestle not against the flesh, but against principalities...., spiritual wickedness in high places.( Paul the Apostle,Ephesians 6) If you've always wondered what Paul was teaching in this passage then this is the book for you, insatiably interesting!!

Easy to read yet very detailed and for those that want deeper things from God.Will change the way you pray by opening your eyes to the way God controls all behind the things that are seen.Barnhouse has the God given gift of explaining in depth thoughts, so even the most simple of us can understand. After this you will be looking up what else he wrote...

ONE OF THE MOST INSIGHTFUL BOOKS I'VE EVER READ. It helped me to develop a much better insight into how Satan works. It convinced me that Nothing happens without God's will, & Satan has no power over us, unless God permits that. I have also developed new insight into the purpose behind this world. Fabulous book for a mature thinking Christian! I don't recommend it for new believers & those who are after simple answers to their questions.
