Dr. Miller still says somethings few others dare to say. (Peterson and Reeder are a couple of others).Especially about the fleshly conspiracy between the ingrown congregation and the faith compromising pastor. Devastating analysis of fleshly immaturity and bold grace for redirecting Christians and the church to grow up into Christ and get on with the "great cause". Visionary pastoral leadership can be recovered with the gospel of the Cross at the center...if I repent.

For pastors of established churches looking for biblical foundations to reignite a vision this is the book. God's Word can be trusted by his leaders and congregations can sense the revitalization they seek when they trust the promises of God to build his church. A must read for pastors in stagnant or declining churches.
