This was perfect for my 17 m. old granddaughter. It was her first introduction to finger puppets, and the story of the Nativity. I think it would have been better if the pocket purse the puppets came in, opened up into a stable or cave to put the figures in. It would serve a dual purpose that way. Something to carry the puppets in, and a background.

These puppets are a lot of fun. My young granddaughter loves to get them out of the very sturdy pouch and play Jesus with me. I think this would be a great addition to a quiet time assortment.

I bought this for my one year old neice and the entire family was wrapped into watching her light up at putting baby Jesus on her finger and the the animals, Mary, Joseph with smiles and delight. The pocket fabric envelope shaped pocket is adorable. My sister in law declared it would be the perfect travel toy as well. Giving a gift that invited a baby to delight in the true meaning of Christmas really ushered us all into a state of present minded joyful and delightful worship.

I purchased this item for a little boy who loves nativity scenes. I got it for him to enjoy but when it came it said it was not recommended for children under 13. Wish I had known.
