I met a pastor who told me about the books and he sparked my curiosity. Not long after, my mother brought up the relationship between a shepherd and his sheep. So I had to buy the books. I bought three, one for my mom and two for my sisters. I am still going to purchase one for myself.

I'm on the third book in the trilogy and have found the unique insights and perspectives offered by Phillip Keller eye opening. I'm using it as a daily devotional and find myself being refreshed and even calmed during some very troubling things going on. Especially in the first book you will find some convicting comparisons about how we really do act like sheep! Overall, the key of the book is that it is always pointing you to the true Shepherd.

A Shepherd Looks at the 23rd Psalms is a fantasitc book. It is a book that I go back a re-read every few years. A Shepherd looks at the Good Shepherd so far is very good. I haven't finished it, but what I have read is interesting and reflects what the Bible teaches about Jesus as The Good Shepherd.
