After reading The Circle Maker, I couldn't wait to read this little book. It was very good and I've bought several to give as gifts. There's nothing more important than praying for our children and grandchildren! They live on after we are gone!

I purchased this book with my children in mind as I am always wanting to learn more as a Christian homeschooling mom. I found this book such an easy and quick read- and it's great to slip into your purse for those moments in the doctor's office or long line-ups. The suggestions that Mark Batterson makes with regards to praying in general but more specifically for your children blessed my heart and will in turn bless my sweet little ones. I know this book will be a blessing to any parent that longs to protect their children from the enemy. I plan on purchasing more of these books due to the great price as well as the armour it will offer for the children of my friends and family members.

This book made me look at praying for my children and the children in our Children's Ministry in a whole new light. It made me realize the awesome responsibility we have to pray for children and how to pray for them. We purchased this for the Sunday School teachers of our church and they have loved it! It was praised so much throughout the church, we made a second bulk purchase for parents. I wold recommend this to anyone.

I was so happy when Zondervan asked me to review this book for them, and they sent me a free copy over the holidays!
This was a quick and easy read, a real delight for a mother’s heart. The price for this pocketbook is so reasonable and with only 103 small pages to peruse, you can really gain a lot of wisdom and ideas in the short amount of time it takes to read through this gem. I loved the promises and stories that were highlighted from the Bible, I loved the confidence it gave me to keep praying, not give up, and expect amazing things from God – in His timing and His will. I can truly trust the One who gave me my children to love and raise up to be godly men.

I read this book on my Kindle and immediately wanted to give it to family and friends, so I ordered 20 print copies for Christmas, and wished that I had ordered more. In this world of horrors, where we can not predict what our children will face on any given day, this book offers hope -- hope for our children, hope for our families and friends, and hope for our WORLD. We need to find ways to do what we can do and truly all we can do to protect them is TRUST OUR CHILDREN TO GOD. Proverbs 3:5-6 New International Version (NIV) provides some words that just might encourage us as we Pray Circles Around Our Children. Keep Praying. Keep Praying. Prayer matters. Prayer make all the difference!

At first I thought that this was going to be a "cutesy" book on praying for your children. What I got instead was a deeper look at how the power of the Holy Spirit WILL work in and through our prayers over, for, and with our children!
I'm definitely recommending this book to every parent that I know. Our children need circles prayed around them now more than ever!

Don't let the word "mantra" throw you. The most current definition is just a repeated word or phrase, and without repetition, how do we memorize scripture and put it in our hearts? This book offers examples of how to pray, what to pray, and stories of how it has worked in the lives of the author's family and others. I've already recommended it to my grown children, and my son told me that it encouraged him at a difficult time. The book is short and easy reading. Let it encourage and inspire you, and help you to pray for your own children or grandchildren, and your family.
