Worthy Publishing Underground Reality Vietnam Curriculum Kit

Underground Reality is a nine-session study that challenges and provokes teens to live a faith worth dying for. As they learn about eight teenagers who smuggled Bibles into communist-controlled Vietnam their eyes will be opened to the hardships face by countless Christians around the world.

Designed to be very interactive, this study leads your teens to solidly connect with God's Word, pray vulnerable prayers, and actively listen for the voice of the Lord. Your adventure kit includes everything you need for a powerful time of life-changing ministry with teens.
  • A 3 DVD set featuring nine video segments, one for each learning session, plus the music video "Look to Love" from SonicFlood
  • An easy-to-follow Leader's Guide, with outreach events and activity ideas.
  • 10 Student Field Manuals with fun activities and challenging devotions for teens that will grow their faith.
  • A Resource CD-ROM loaded with promotion and set-up ideas and printable materials used in the lesson segments.
You won't find a more courageous, interactive, compassionate, or challenging video program for students. They'll gain appreciation for the opportunities they have to worship and serve God freely, and be challenged toward a radically devoted, completely surrendered, all-our pursuit of Jesus Christ and His purposes for their lives—regardless of the cost.

Our youth group loved this study. It is very easy to do and the games were alot of fun. But most importantly it opened their eyes to what people in other countries have to endure for their faith and it challenged them to build their relationships with Jesus. The videos were engaging, and the teens in the videos were very easy to relate to. I highly recommend this curriculum. Everyone needs some perspective on what the underground church goes through. And Voice of the Martyrs is a wonderful source. Even adults will be challenged by these videos.

These is a good series. It has two members of the group Sonic Flood doing each of the Introductions of the segments. The segments are short, only about 10-15 minutes each. I ended up doing 2 segments a week. I think the series helped
our Teens see how shallow we are in America with our faith.
When you see the devotion that the underground Church has
in Vietnam, it really makes you think about your own devotion.

I purchased this originally to show a small group of youth that meets while their parents meet for another study. After viewing the first episode, I had to watch the entire 3 DVD set at one sitting. I was brought to tears several times, realizing how mediocre my faith is compared to those who are persecuted daily for their faith. My plan now is the lead a whole family study. I am looking forward to what God has to say to me personally and as a group as we seek His will.
