A 7-week group Bible study with inspirational video presentations featuring David Jeremiah on 3 DVDs as he teaches from John Newton's hymn, Amazing Grace. You will learn what grace looks like when it's lived out at home, at work, in marriage, with children and friends, during economic crises, and especially in the church.
Along with the Leader's Guide and 1 Member's Workbook, there are 7 programs on audio CDs to help the leader prepare for each class! A DVD-ROM with promotional resources for church campaigns or community outreach, and a movie-style Announcement Poster are also included.

Although the material is good, the workbook is no longer available - which they don't tell you before you order. You get one copy of the workbook, and can't order more. So, if you want to use the workbook for group members, you have to contact David Jeremiah's website and request an electronic copy at $3 per. Not very convenient.

This curriculum kit is a benefit for the price. [PLEASE SEE SPECIAL NOTES] The materials provided in the kit are good. The video segments last on average 20 min., leaving time for referring to Bible passages followed by input and discussion. The series can also be done without the use of the member workbooks. Some of the illustration stories from the member workbook are very good. Yet the facilitator/teacher can share the ones they find most relevant from the weeks readings. Graphics and PDF's provided on the Campaign Resource CD are good for promotion of the series.
Special Notes of Importance: The additional resources that are supposed to be available from a listed website in the leaders guide no longer exist. The website address is dead in the water. DJ's people and direct website does not provide any support or help for this problem. Some of those additional resources may have made this kit 5 stars. They were to include basic answers to many of the discussion questions etc. which would have been a substantial benefit to the one leading.
No PowerPoints are included for posting questions. I am in the process of creating my own. I am also producing Word docs/PDF's that would probably replace the non-existent web resources. If sharing these with others was possible, it would save much time and effort. However with the current copyright this is probably not possible.

CBD was contacted and did look further into these issues for me and did contact me back confirming what I already suspected. I thank them for that. However this should now be made clear in their info before buying. I suspect this is the reason the price is not greater than it is.

My Chinese Bible study group are for busy parents, we meet only one hour a week during school time. The material are useful for me but I cannot use the deeper questions for discussion due to time limit. Its a blessing that I can purchase this with a discount.

Dr. David Jeremiah is one of my favority preachers and teachers and he doesn't disappoint in this study on grace. We are using it in a mid-week Bible study. Not only am I totally satisfied but the students in the class are excited as well. We are having better attendance for this study than we have had for any study we have ever done. I highly recommend it.
