Allowance: A Consumer Math GameShould you spend money on ice cream or put it in the bank? This game helps reinforce money management skills and build a sense of responsibility! Players develop and interest in earning, saving, and making purchases, but they must choose, as in real life, whether to spend or save their money. As players move around the colorful board, they select chance cards that offer tasks like mowing the lawn or cleaning the garage. But some cards have unexpected expenses on them. The game is open-ended, so player can choose when they want it to end, such as when one player has no more money, one player has $20.00 or more, or when one player has moved his or her marker completely around the board. This game includes: a game board, 6 markers, currency, coins, Take-A-Chance cards, and instructions. Recommended for 2 to 6 players, ages 8 to 14 or grades 3 to 8.

My ten year old dislikes math. She enjoys the ease of this game. She has no idea she is working on her math skills.
