I am quite disappointed with the quality of the magnification, but then again for the price I guess you get what you paid for.

Great quality for an entry level microscope. The light source works great. The only drawback is at times you must hold it back from the specimen just a bit to focus, making it hard to hold still. Lots of fun for looking at textures of fabrics,wood grain etc.
