Harvest House Publishers 10 Most Important Things You Can Say to a Jehovah's Witness

Are Jehovah's Witnesses knocking on your door and asking you questions? Do you have a friend or family member involved with the Jehovah's Witnesses? Are you unsure of what to say to them? Looking for a little certainty, a little confidence? Then you will really enjoy this book.

Cult expert Ron Rhodes has compiled a list of ten pivotal issues that need to be brought up with Jehovah's Witnesses. Though short (concise), this book is accurate, and fair, and offers all the relevant information to make you more confident in your dealings with the Jehovah's Witnesses.

Rhodes' goals for this book? Simple:
  • To identify the ten most critical issues/problems
  • To examine the exact nature of each doctrinal error
  • To contrast the cultic teachings of the Jehovah's Witnesses with the truth revealed in the Bible
  • To review basic principles of Bible interpretation (with a view toward showing how the Jehovah's Witnesses do not follow them)
  • To explain the correct meaning of the numerous Bible verses that the Jehovah's Witnesses (and other cults) cite incorrectly or out of context
Does Rhodes achieve these goals? Quite admirably so. His exposition of the history, doctrine and practices of the Jehovah's Witnesses is truly eye-opening, and will greatly encourage all who seek to reach out to Jehovah's Witnesses with the truth. His strong biblical stance, and his passion for the truth are infectious, and will aid anyone in their conversations with Jehovah's Witnesses (and other cults as well). With an easy-to-use layout, and clear, concise descriptions, this book is great for quick referencing.

After reading this book, not only will you be able to stand your ground against the arguments of the Jehovah's Witnesses, you will also be able to more effectively share the gospel with them.

I wonder if I can get the book: The 10 most important things you can say to a Jehova's witness. This is very important to me, so I can discusse with solid arguments to them. For your information, I am christian (Baptist), I am a Colombian, speaking spanish, but living in Canada as a Canadian citizen. I feel the necessity to face the J.W. with great arguments, like those in Ron Rhodes's books. Thanks a lot.Camilo Camero

Mr. Rhodes knows that Jesus is exactly who He claimed to be; his book will help countless seekers of the truth, Jehovah's Witnesses among them, come to the same conclusion.

This is a great book for those who work or go to school with JWs. I've used it and it really helps me reach them. Talking to a JW is timely and frustrating but with helps like this book we can help these misguided people find God's love not knowledge.

i believe this is an innacurate aproach. I felt that the book is a form of persecution for the JW and that its not right to judge someone that is trying to help you weather JW's or not.

This book is awesome: easy to read, brief, but informative. The amount of research that was put into the "10 Most Important Things You Can Say" series gives me the confidence to hold my ground when in discussions with Jehovah's Witness, etc. I plan on buying the rest of the series.

I agree, there has been so much false prophecies in JW. Things of the past which are so wrong. To declare themselves as messengers of the Lord. Just as our Christ said to to careful of false prophets. They deny the deity of Christ, and are going door to door leading people to eternal damnation. I think its better for someone to know the truth and ask them the questions that will make them think.

ALICIA from CARTWRIGHT ( Reviewed on April 18, 2002 ) In responese to Alicia's comment. We have the right and the duty to examine what is true and what may not be. If something is found to be untrue then the right thing to do is to expose the errors and weaknesses of that faulty belief.I'm sure Jesus was seen as "rude" for speaking the truth and telling others He was, "The Way, the Truth and the Life". He "picked on" others beliefs for their own good, not just to be mean, but to show them out of love their own sinfulness and how they can know the Truth. Our eternal existence is dependent on whether what we believe is true or not. Thank you-----:)

Geepers, I think this book is rude. All I read was what the book contained and was offended by it! No I'm not one, my brother is one, but no one has the right to pick on any religions' beliefs!!
