This book is much much better than you might expect. Ever since I bought this, I've been eager to read it to gain wisdom on singleness, marriage, and my relationship the Lord. This is exactly what I needed before I get engaged, and it also improves my expectations in my relationship currently. This book would prepare any girl's heart in whatever situation she is in. It's mainly about realizing God's desire to be in our lives and His unfailing love for us (& this is far more fulfilling than any man's love). Once we have the right foundations and expectations, we are more whole individuals with better understanding of how men will play into our hearts and lives. The author speaks with such wisdom and a heart for the Lord, and she also pulls from other women's life experiences. Her love for the Lord and the presence of God on this book has impacted my life already. I want to buy this book for every single one of my friends, whether married or single.

Jerusha Clark has written yet another great book. Filled with practical advice, compassion, and godly wisdom, this book is a wonderful resource for all women everywhere. Jerusha's writing is clear, direct, and warm. As a single woman, I have read a LOT of books on marriage and relationships, but none have ever dealt with tackling the myths that this book so clearly identifies and refutes. I appreciate the Scriptural truths Jerusha uses to dissect these lies. I feel like I now have a better, more realistic, and godlier view of marriage. I highly recommend this book!
