Great book. I never thought a book with "Catastropic" in the title would be so joyous. There is much to look forward to. Thought it was a book by Chuck Missler but it was a pleasant surprise. Good job, Mr. James.

The compilation of authors Terry James has put together for this book is made up of some of the best and most solid commentators and teachers in prophesy today. Terry includes an authors' section in the back of the book with the bio of each author. Each has an area of expertise as it relates to Bible prophesy that they have written about for this book.
The book covers a large variety of subjects surrounding the imminent Rapture of the Church before the seven year Tribulation period [prophesied in both the Old Testament and New Testament] and a bit on that period itself, as many prophesies are progressive---the groundwork is laid in advance, can be seen today, but the fullness is for that future time. The book covers everything from the ground work for a one world government that has been in the works for many decades right in front of us to the "birth pangs" in the Olivet Discourse to abortion to the development of information and the internet to alien sitings (yep!) and how they all relate to endtimes prophesy.
The book is very digestible for both the new and serious prophecy student, for the Christian who cannot find answers about prophesy at their church that won't touch, study or teach it, or a person who has no relationship with the Lord Jesus but their curiosity has been stirred. All authors impose nothing on the Biblical texts that they are using for their particular area of commentary and do an excellent job of observation, reporting and interpretation. The scope of the book into so many areas makes this an excellent purchase, worth your time, and reads quickly. It's a book that you will loan out and pass along.
