Dr. Hughes (or Dr. Bob as he prefers) is an awesome professor of Church History. I have enjoyed his books and teaching very much. Take it from someone who has spent a fair amount of time under his teaching, he is passionate about this subject; and his writing style is anything but boring! Awesome book for anyone wanting to know a little more about our roots.
