I was very glad that CBD offered this collection. This is a very good purchase that I believe any Christian who wants to better understand the New Testament should get this 4 book set. It is set with the King James bible, but is still worth getting.

I have been wanting this for some time and I finally got it and it is worth the wait. The quailty of the books are well put together the information in side is a classic. Every pastor should have this set in there library.

I already had an older edition of Vincents Word Studies, and wanted to have a newer edtion, so I could retire the older one or give them to a friend. The overall condition and price made it a great value at the right time!

Vincents has been a standard reference work for a very long time and has earned its place on the bookshelf. While many words will not receive the in-depth treatment one might desire, that isn't the intent of this work. When used in conjunction with Robertson's Word Pictures, The Expositor's Greek Testament, Vines Dictionary and the standard grammars and lexicons it helps to round out the toolbox.

in the last part of the 19th century and the beginning of the 20th. While not done primarily in greek like A.T. Robertson's Word Pictures Vincent strikes a middle ground which makes his volumes of more use to the causual biblical scholar. He explains some exceptionally difficult passages. This is a good work for the hurried pastor and useful to Sunday school teachers. Having used other similar works I find Vincent exceptional. The price is also attractive. The binding on this set makes it look old and it does maintain the high quality binding of the older sets.
