I feel like I've peeled a layer off the Bible and understand it at a new level. It's a very academic, yet readable book that discusses every opinion by secular scholars and clearly shows the truth. He writes with an authority too, that its no wonder all the greatest theologians list this as one of their most influential books they've read. I disagree with the previous reviewer, because many people have tried to improve on Ladd's masterpiece and it still remains unrivaled. read it!

Concur with the depth of this study, but Leon Morris' work has a similar richness and broader scope on what constitutes NT Theology.
