Excellent too for teaching people who are very visual learners and not sure about biblical history. I love this book and will use it for years to come.

I have essentially been using this book since it came on the market, called "The Bible Visual Resource Book" at that time. I bought it mainly for the black and white illustrations which are a great advantage to the teacher who wants to customize their illustrations. Most colored maps and charts are made to highlight certain aspects of the material they come with whereas basic black and white illustrations can be dressed up in all sorts of ways to help the student focus on key points the instructor wishes to get across. I have used this book as a resource in personal Bible Study, in teaching children, youth, and adults simply because it is so versitile. I hope my copy will last another few decades.

This is an excellent product. I have wanted copies of the charts, maps, and diagrams etc. in the NIV Study Bible but did not want the NIV version. I bought the Hendrickson Loose leaf bible in another version. This book supplied all the study bible material that I wanted in the exact size I needed. I punched holes in the edges and inserted the pages in the appropriate places in the loose leaf bible. Works great! Introductions, which are also included for each book of the Bible, are universal for any version and are not limited to any doctrinal position. Good Job!

Not quite what I expected, but after reading the description again I guess it's exactly what is described regarding the purpose/theme, key verse etc. for each biblical book. This is the same information you get from MOST study bible introductions. I WOULD USE MAINLY FOR TEACHING NEW CONVERTS, not mature Christians who are familiar with the bible.

This book is just what I have been looking for to save teaching preparation time. I plan to use the charts along with the What the Bible is All About text. This is the same text that was used at my Christian school when I was in 7th and 8th grade. I have always been grateful for the knowledge of the Bible that I gained from this coursework.

I'm very sad about this product. I believed there were more geographic maps, but there are really few. The explanation of the product is not so true. There are just many charts, but I believe they are good for teaching the Bible to children. I would have returned the book to CBD, but it just cost me other money. Very sorry and completely not satisfied.
