OldladyChristine5 Stars Out Of 5Excellent biblical counseling and reference book.January 18, 2016OldladyChristineQuality: 5Value: 5Meets Expectations: 5I am presently working toward my certification as a biblical counselor. I have already completed a several year study of God's word on my own and created my own reference work. However, this book is a great add-on as it includes the counseling aspects as well as biblical passages on many important topics. I also found this helpful for myself as I suffer from fibromyalgia and PTSD. Have been to many doctors over the years. And while each one offered something, not one of them had the answer. It has been only by God's guidance that I have come this far. I highly recommend this book, along with consistent prayer and trust in God, for anyone who needs a biblical resource for serving others or in helping themselves overcome the trials of life.

The key characteristics given will also help them with diagnoses. The book did however short a lot of information on some topics such as divorce which only deals with the adults and not the children.
