I have never before read such a beautiful story. I'm glad I waited to read them when all three the books were published, so I could read the story in one breath. It was an amazing story, so touching, so beautiful. When I wasn't reading, in my mind I was wondering what would happen next to Hannah.I'm looking forward to more such beautiful stories from Cindy Woodsmall. I have a new favorite author!

I found these treasures at my local library, and could hardly believe this is Cindy Woodsmall's first attempt at writing. I was drawn into the story immediately, and was left meditating on the serious situations addressed and the ways people reacted to each other and to situations. Even though I am not Amish I could identify with both the "saints" and "sinners" profiled in this story.I look forward to Cindy Woodsmall's future works in much the same way I do for Karen Kingsbury's.

It's not often that books can bring me to tears. Reading this series left me longing to be a part of Hannah's life. Books (like these) entrenched in faith and perseverance lift me up, creating in me a desire to be my best, as well as cultivate a humble and serving demeanor.

I enjoyed this series very much. Although there is a lot of Amish-themed literature out there these days, this series is still worth the reading.

Words cannot express the amount of enjoyment that I got from this series of books. I gave the first book in the series to my Mom for Mother's Day. We could not wait until the others came out. I look forward to reading more from Cindy Woodsmall. She is a very talented writer!!!

When has a series come to inspire, inform ,educate and excite the reader; young girls and old grandmothers???? Refreshing and gentle, not candy coated but with a mature and Christian approach to carry you through the life and the lives of the Amish community through the experiences of a girl who becomes part of your life experience. I stumbled upon this series and am now reading aloud a chapter each evening to my own teenage granddaughter; a memory we shall cherish thanks to Cindy Woodsmall. I urge you to read these wonder-filled accounts of this sweet and courageous young Amish girl who deals with real life challenges and always inspires the reader through her many trials and triumphs as we share her next moments with anticipation and pleasure!! This is a wonderful way to spend the quiet rare moments in our reading lives!!
