Amy Carmichael went to South India in 1895 and remained there without a break until she entered into Life in January 1951. A great woman who did a great work? The impression left by this book is rather that she was the servant of a great God. Illustrated.

Review 1 for Edges of His Ways

This book was given to me by my pastor's wife years ago. As I read "Edges of His Ways" I learned a deeper relationship with the Lord, Jesus Christ through Amy's experiences and responses to them which were usually to get alone with God and the Word with prayer. Amy saw and experienced very difficult situations, yet did not complain or shrink back from God. Instead, she was enlightened and empowered by God. I give this book to people that I really care about and pray that God will enlighten & empower them as well.

Amy Carmichael seem to meet a personal need of mine each day through a devotional thought. After using this for a year, we bought 2 more for family.
