Insightful and Challenging!
Date:March 31, 2011
I am surprised that this book is not more well-known and that I am the first person to write a review. Although I haven't finished the book yet (it's over 500 pages!), I have read enough to write a very good review. I think pastors and laymen alike should read this book. Many people in evangelical churches, including myself, start out with presuppositions and assumptions. This book definitely challenges the status-quo from a biblical, historical, and modern perspective. Even though the reader may disagree at certain points, one cannot deny the overall point: God has used and continues to use house churches to build his kingdom and this fact needs to gain more wide-spread acceptance and adherance.
