Customer Reviews for Harvest House Publishers With God on the Golf Course

Harvest House Publishers With God on the Golf Course

For some, golf is merely a game. But for Callaway, it's a time to reflect upon life and faith. Here with humor and insight, he shares what he has learned while on the green. In 32 short devotions he compares golf to the Christian walk in chapters such as "Heavenly Golf" and "Improving Your Lie." 128 pages, softcover from Harvest.

I've had excellent response from students about this booklet. I used it as a "handout" in our Bible study. As usual CBD does a wonderful job with delivery. Thank you!

Very excellent devotional. Mr. Callaway really opened up ideas how we can witness to others and bring more people to our Lord and Savior.

Several of us guys have used this in a Bible study and the reviews have been incredible. If you have any interest at all in golf, this book will have you howling with laughter one minute and thinking about the most important aspects of the Christian life the next. I haven't read Callaway's books for non-golfers, but definitely will be picking some up. His style is one of making you laugh very hard, then hitting you over the head with a spiritual truth you didn't see coming. His comedy is great, but his heart for Christ comes through. This book has had a profound impact on my life.
