I ordered the slate blue/silver, the black/black, and the melon green/turquoise editions of the regular size NIV student Bible for gifts. The content is identical but the covers vary. I am very pleased with the study features of these Bibles, and I prefer the 1984 NIV version (which these are) over the revised 2011 version. I value accuracy of translation over political correctness (gender-neutral revisions). These Bibles don't have extensive, lengthy study discussions, but include enough notes, questions, and added information throughout to help with context, interest, and understanding. Two abbreviated plans and one complete plan for reading the Bible are included in the beginning pages.
The box mentions high school and college students, but these Bibles would be good for upper elementary through adulthood. The dimensions are about 9.5" x 6.5", with easy to read print. I wish the words of Christ were shown in red, however. Also, the black/black cover is partially shiny black plastic, which I personally don't like as well as the other, leather-look covers. I may try to exchange those. All in all, excellent student Bibles.

I bought this for my daughter who just started a Christian College and had her name imprinted on it as well. I couldn't be more happy with the way it looks and what Great colors! NIV is also a great bible for students with a lot of details for anyone wanting to go deeper in the word.

This bible is so nice looking and the quality is amazing for the price! I gave it to my 11 year old daughter and she LOVES it! I would highly recommend this product.

We purchased this bible to send to someone we have been ministering to in England. He has no family or friends that are Christian and he was using his phone to look up scriptures online. This was perfect for what he needed.

I bought this Bible for our 14-year old son. He loves it! He was excited about all the features it has and the soft leather like cover. I am so glad I got it for him and am thinking about getting one for our other son as well. It's a good buy for any teen; I think it comes in colors that girls would like too. I chose the chocolate/caramel/tan, and my son likes it a lot.

I am so pleased with the two student bibles I purchased for my granddaughters for Christmas. They are very well bound and the bright pink color is a plus. The pricing was also a plus. I reviewed the contents and think it will be appealing because of the explanations and additional references on the same pages as the scripture verses. A wonderful tool for the girls who are 14 and 15. I view this as an investment in eternity.

We give this "student" Bible to new Christians; it's easy to read and follow, and not at all intimidating. We actually like the format and easy-to-follow graphics of this 1984 translation better than the new 2011 translation. The variety of "cool" covers are nice too. We have purchased several of these "student" bibles, and will continue to do so.

Our church purchased these Bibles for our confirmands. I liked it so much, I purchased it for me. I particularly liked the reading guide that was included. The quality is fantastic and the colors are beautiful. (They're actually the colors of my high school). The softness of the cover is great along with the stand-out silver-edged pages. I'm glad for the opportunity to print a name on the front - and at such a good price! Great product!!!

I was hoping it would have been a better quality leather but it was the glossy type material. The end of the pages are gold and the name was gold on the front which was a nice touch. Other then the glossy cover, great gift.

I found this e-Bible after a long search of buying a variety of them from other sources. All ten others did not work the way we need a bible to work. With this version I can open a contents list and go to a book and chapter. I am using this on a black pandigital 7. I have had NO problems with this bible. And, since finding it here on this site I have been making almost all my purchases here. Everything from homeschooling supplies to kids books toChildren's Church supplies and even toys for birthday presents!
