I would highly recommend Treasures of Encouragement. Sharon Betters speaks directly to our hearts. We get a fresh glimpse of who we are in Christ and how that relationship empowers us to encourage those around us. This book has been a favorite of mine for over nine years. I recently made my fourth journey through its pages and have been blessed all the more. I have been brought to tears each time as I consider the faithfulness of God in the midst of the trials of His children. Great for group study too!

This book has so touched my life that I have recommended it for our Women's Group to study this fall (2000). This book teaches us that when Christ is in us, we have the treasures of His encouragement right at our fingertips. It really makes you consider what it means to have Christ living IN you. In my own life and I know in the lives of so many other women in and out of our church, they are hurting. Emotionally and spiritually. This book gives you the tools to minister to one another not in our strength but as vessels of God in His strength. Truly, this is a book that you must add to your library and, in turn, you are making an investment into the lives of others. I encourage you to take hold of the wonderful journey that the Lord will lead you on through this marvelous book. God Bless
