The cover was attractive but the Bible and size of print were smaller than we expected.

This is a great Bible. I have no problems reading it to the youth and children that I chat with and minister to. I love the graphics and the headings. Everything is very straight forward and the kids all get the meaning of the passages fairly quickly without the use of a dictionary! I also appreciate the visual summary inside the intro to each book! I like the fact that the intorductions are short, sweet, get straight to the point and are not intimidatingly long!! This is so good for those who are beggining to read or aren't fluent! I love the simple b/w maps, the Bible helps/ personal-references, the easy dictionary, simple measure-equivalent tables thingio. They are so cool, and uncomplicated to understand. However, the reason I have not given this a five-star rating is maily because of one thing. If you read 2 Kings 1:9-10, 1:16-17, 4:12-14, 4:29-30, and 14:11-13 in the youth Bible Global Edition, in both the Hard and Soft cover there are Structural problems where half of some verses are missing. I am trying to contact the publishers so that they can re-print it for my kids but I can't seem to find a phone number or something. I really appreciate how the kids can read and understand this version better without the use of a dictionary. For anyone who has the money to spend on bulk-buying or for an individual gift, the Childrens soft cover has no problems with the verses mentioned. I highly reccomend this book (well the translation) as long as they reprint this particular edition! And I hope they do it soon so I can bulk-buy around 20-25 for Christmas! So if anyone can contact me or let the publisher know I would be very greatful! PS I wish they would do everything the same in the layout but just fix it!
