Author and speaker Francis Chan says the secret to his great marriage lies in a Scripture passage that some people think is actually 'anti-marriage': "... those who have wives should live as if they had none" (1 Cor. 7:29). No, this verse doesn't mean married people should ignore their spouse, Chan explains; rather, it means Christian couples should focus more on their mission than on themselves. Chan says his own marriage has been more fulfilling because he and his wife are devoted to following God's calling on their lives together. On this broadcast, Chan challenges and encourages listeners - married and single - to consider just how committed they really are to obeying Christ's commands?

Review 2 for Francis Chan: Faith and Family

The message that Francis presented, entitled "Family and Faith" has literally changed my life...God allowed me to hear that message at a very critical moment in my spiritual life. I feel like I've had an experience akin to what Paul experienced on the road to Damascus...after being prayed for the Fish Scales popped out of my eyes and it's like I'm seeing my spiritual journey in life through new eyes...I now really do have a purpose, I now really do have a mission in life...How I pray to finish well and not disappoint my Lord! Brother Francis, thank you for being faithful to present this message...I now know that for years I've been eating at the pig trough of worldly materialism (aka spiritual Babylon), and now have just awoke to the realization, I must go to my Father and live His way. Thank You, Thank You, Thank You! May God Bless and Keep you all! In Christ, Sister Cyndi
