Kevin Repasky - Director of Men's Ministry
This review was written for Jesus Christ, Disciplemaker--Updated Edition.
This book is worth not only reading but is necessary to implement throughout your entire church. I have challenged our leadership team to embrace the concepts of this book and to totally change our thinking. Many people claim to follow Jesus. Many people claim to be His disciples and many are. However, less and less churches in America take the time to educate new believers to the point where they experience a life changing transformation through the Word of God. Most disturbing are the Christians that consider themselves disciples but do not understand how to multiply themselves through discipleship. Bill Hull stresses his concern that we have accepted a non-discipleship Christianity that leads to plenty of motion, activity and conferences but no lasting transformation. Jesus has commanded us to make disciples of all the nations teaching them to observe all things that He has commanded and yet we have become content with emotion and experience without learning, loving and living Gods Holy Word.It is imperative that we fulfill the Great Commission and help people move toward spiritual maturity one disciple at a time. Thank you Bill Hull for taking the narrow road and challenging us to think, live, love, minister and lead as Jesus did.(also recommend, "The Disciple Making Pastor")
