Moody Publishing Miss Match:-eBook Allie Fortune Mystery Series #2

FBI agent Jack O'Connor receives a letter from Maggie, a woman he used to love, saying she's in trouble in Berlin. The FBI refuses to get involved, so Jack asks Allie Fortune to help him investigate. Allie and Jack pose as a missionary couple who want to bring orphans back to the United States.

A child finds important documents that everyone in the city - Soviets and allies alike - want for themselves. Maggie refuses to tell Jack what the documents are, saying if things go wrong, they are better off not knowing. Through the course of the search, Allie's past is brought back to her, half a world away from home.

"""This is-not a Spoiler!""" Sara Mill has found a fabulous nix in the "Allie Fortune Mystery Series" I've read both and can't wait for the next book. Filled with Intrigue and Suspense. Sara's 2nd Book "Miss Match" brings us into a world we'd never enter alone. My husband has enjoyed this series as well. Both part 1 and 2 follow the same time-line, but are interesting once these uncover two separate stories in this series. I'm eagerly, anxiously waiting for the next book to follow... Applause- Sara Mills. Excellent Read!

Miss Match is a good book with an absolutely fabulous ending. The pages sped by all through it, but in the last chunk of chapters, I bit my nails, raced across the paragraphs, and literally let out a squeak of protest when I flipped the last page. No! I cried out. I need more! More, I tell you! Sara Mills delivered a perfect cliffhanger ending that guarantees her readers will eagerly await the next installment of the Allie Fortune Mystery serieswhich is certain to satisfy us concerning Allie and her long-lost David. The story is fast-paced and involving, the characters deep and personal, and the result is a novel that isnt to be missed. Full of adventure, family secrets, and a few twists that will leave you breathless, Miss Match is a stellar sequel to Mills debut Miss Fortune. The book stands on its own when it comes to story, but if you want the full scope of the characters depth, definitely pick up Miss Fortune firstthe history you get from the first will make the second all the more suspenseful. And youll be tapping your foot along with me, waiting for the third!

I love this book and this series. Frankly, I wish I'd come up with it! Allie Fortune refuses to be called Miss Fortune; instead she is known around NYC in 1947 as the PI Princess. Likely the only female private investigator in the city she has a penchant for finding cases that involve intrigue and suspense. In this book Allie is swept into international intrigue as she travels to Berlin to help a friend find an old flame. The book's pacing is fast and kept the pages flipping -- I read it in one morning! One warning, if you have to read a series in quick succession because you hate not knowing out it ends, dont read book two yet. Miss Fortune is a delightful read on its own. However, Miss Match ends quite abruptly and left me emailing the author to know when book three releases. I may have to beg for a copy of the manuscript because I have to know what happens!

I was so excited about reading this second book to the Allie Fortune Mystery series. The story is gripping and exciting, and the background story of Jack and Maggie is touching, just like it was with Allie and David in the first book. Sara Mills does an excellent job with her Miss Match, and I liked how she brought more of God into the story than she did in Miss Fortune. I am eagerly waiting for the third book to come out!
