The authors speak out of extensive experience. They have devoted their lives to reaching men in our churches. The focus is on discipleship as the central means to reaching men. The strategy of the book is to help churches develop their own way of ministering to men rather than a prescribing a plan that supposedly fits all.

C. Cogswell4 Stars Out Of 5June 7, 2008C. CogswellThis review was written for No Man Left Behind: How to Build and Sustain a Thriving Men's Ministry in Your Church. This book really addresses the issue of how easy it is to miss the mark for a real discipleship ministry. It is refreshing to see a principle oriented book that makes the reader think how to apply these principles in the context of his own ministry. I intend to use this in my men's ministry and see if we can get the creative juices flowing for our men to be better at thinking strategically and engaging a true discipleship ministry.C.C.

Pastor MichaelHouston, TXAge: 45-54Gender: male4 Stars Out Of 5Stresses the need for churches to disciple men.June 29, 2011Pastor MichaelHouston, TXAge: 45-54Gender: maleQuality: 4Value: 4Meets Expectations: 4Great book filled with helpful information to motivate church leaders to understand the need and construction of a successful men's ministry. The author doesn't tell you too many specifics, but rather lays out a model and gives good solid "real life" examples. Great book for building a "lead team' of men.
