Since I grew up as a quilter's daughter I could really identiify with the main character in this book. The story swept you up in her life and you could feel her concerns and problems as though they were yours. This author really puts you in the scenes.

I couldn't wait to begin the second book in this series. Being a quilter myself, this one was the one that caught my eye from the beginning.
The details of the quilt shops and the quilters and even the quilt were spot on and particularly enjoyable to me.
It was wonderful to continue on the journey of the lovable characters and endearing families in this series. I appreciate and identify with the characters Wanda Brunstetter creates.
I'm very glad I purchased this series even though it was from a few years ago. I think others will enjoy it!

I thought this book was wonderful.I have always had great respect for the Amish and since I am a quilter it seemed natural to readthis book. For anyone who loves the Amish and quilting this would be the book for them. I have read several of Wanda's other books and they are all just as good. Keep up the good work.

I love the stories by Wanda E. Brunstetter, and this series is a good one. I enjoyed this second book in The Daughters of Lancaster County series. The Fishers seem like old friends, and Abby Miller,Fannie's daughter, is a sweet-natured young lady who faces tragedy and overcomes, through faith and support of family. The ending is one of hope; and there is a clue which might lead to the child, Zach, who was kidnapped. I look forward to reading the third book, which I've already ordered.I highly recommend this book to readers who like Christian books about the Amish people.

Interesting read. However, most series have a closure of the plot in each book. They may carry on with certain themes but not a major plot from book to book like this one does. This series has a major plot that carries from book to book and it gets tedious. Now will book three conclude it or will we have to buy a fourth, fifth, sixth or how many books to get to the end? I find these rather stressful. Beverly Lewis is a much better writer if you want the Amish story theme.

I am so glad to be able to see what happens to these Character from Storekeeper Daughter, they are so real!!!! Abby is a character I can identify with. Sometimes a person can get so caught up in caring for others they forget to take care of them selves, we need a balance. The tragedy she faces and the way she deals with them, the doubt and then the total surrender to what the Lord has for her. He provides for her in a way she never dreamed possible. It is also neat to get to see what is happening with Zach/Jimmy.Can't wait for Bishop's Daughter!!!!
