Multnomah Books For Young Men Only - eBook

Research shows that most teenage girls care more about inner qualities than looks, money, or popularity in the boys they're attracted to. Those inner qualities include a sense of humor, a love for adventure, thoughtfulness, and (for those with religious convictions) a genuine faith. Of course--as you might expect with adolescent girls--the picture gets more complicated from there--a lot more! Teen girls also admit a strong attraction to "bad boys," and will sometimes put up with disrespectful, hurtful treatment from "bad boys" if the relationship gives them a sense of security. They agree that intimacy, especially sexual intimacy, with a boy comes with strings attached no matter what the girls say before, during, or after. They believe that their apparently random emotional patterns make perfect sense...and think guys should care enough to figure them out. Thankfully, For Young Men Only arrives with humor, insight, and practical solutions for the beleagured reader Feldhahn and Rice call, "Our hero, Average Joe."

Gave this book to my son. He hasn't read it yet, but his buddies take it off of the shelf in his room to read it. It must be a good book. My daughter has a copy of "For Young Women Only" but when it comes to her guy friends she recommends the book "For Young Men Only." Her guy friends tell her that, they do like the book and obtain good advice from it. The book is not too long to read and short enough to get to the point.

Excellent read. I actually heard my son laughing at some of the humor in the book. His teenage sister read the book too and added her confirmation that the content was accurate. The adult versions of these books will definitely be on the wedding gift list for all three of my children!

A big hit with my almost 15-year old son. He was even able to confirm the accuracy of the information in the book with his sister. It's nice to have information that shows our children that greatness is not just on the surface. Girls (and guys) still value a great personality over beauty!
