Review 1 for Free Yourself, Be Yourself: Find the Power to Escape Your Past - eBook
This is my first review of any book ever. I hope that I can give you a clear and brief understand of how wonderful it is. I truly believe that it is life changing no matter what stage or place you are in your journey with God.
I have been a Christian for a little over 20 years and I feel that for the first time I am beginning to truly understand what it means to follow Jesus. To say that this is a freeing experience is putting it mildly.
Through the pages of this study God has been gently leading me into the land of promise. A place that I feel He has been leading me into for the last several years. I feel that Christ is inviting me to rest - - to stop striving, with myself and with others. I am learning more and more that God is very much in control and I do not have to be. I was carrying a load that was never meant for me to carry and in the process I was crumbling under its weight.
I fell in love with Jesus because of His most amazing Grace…I took a “religious detour” while still in love with Him…in His abundant grace and mercy He is leading me into the freedom that He so costly purchased for me and I am learning to live out of the overflow of his grace and mercy in my life.
I hope that this encourages you to buy this book and that you will then pass it along to others.

Review 2 for Free Yourself, Be Yourself: Find the Power to Escape Your Past - eBook
I enjoyed this book for the most part. It has some very good advice. The only reason I gave it 3 stars is because to me it was a bit charasmatic for my taste. Like on page 228 where he explains a special speaker slapped him in the stomach and said, "Filled" and then he fell to the ground laughing, crying and shaking. He explains that he laid up front like that for an hour while the Evangelist finished his service. There were a few other things mentioned along this line. No offense, but just not my cup of tea.

The second most powerful book I have ever read. The only book more Powerful is the Bible. It equips one to get past the things (guilt) that have weighed them down.Since reading this a little over a year ago. Originally named " Shame Off You" I have given away my personal copy which was given to me, purchased a few more copies and passed them on. Even if you were like me and had it all worked out, on the path and living right, you may just find things (stuff) that are holding down and back without even knowing it!Chris
