The Superstar Student DVD series instructs high school students in how to improve basic study skills and develop a genuine enthusiasm for learning. Lessons cover a range of skills useful in any school subject: budgeting time, taking notes, annotating texts, writing papers, completing exams, and choosing the right career path after high school.

This program introduces students to several strategies to improve writing skills, but first, they are challenged to consider how they usually approach writing. The suggestion is made that students approach their writing from content to form, with an alterative technique called "jam writing" presented. Grades 9-12. 30 minutes on DVD.
