The key to William's mystically oriented theological thought, DESCENT INTO HELL (arguably Williams's greatest novel) is a multidimensional story about human beings who shut themselves up in their own narcissistic projections, so that they are no longer able to love, to "co-inhere". The result is a veritable hell.

This book was odd, but absolutely amazing. If you are looking for a good thought provoking read than this is the book for you--so long as you dont mind that a couple of the storys characters are dead. Its a little bit creepy, but not scary (trust me, I am terrified of thrillers and ghosts and anything of that sort, but I did not find this story scary at all. It was strange and intriguing but not scary.) It is a book I would recommend to anyone. Possibly one of my all time favorite reads.
