Horizons works very well for two of my three homeschoolers. I love the fact that the lessons don't contain a lot of busy work. The spiral learning is great for us.

Great math book for our son who doesn't care to sit and do his school work! He loves doing math! We love the repetition and the order they teach the concepts.

This is my first time teaching Kindergarten and these workbooks made it very easy. My twin boys loved it and learned so fast. Workbook one deals with adding, money, days, months, shapes, etc. Workbook two has subtraction, beginning fractions, and more, with a great deal of review so facts are not forgotten
You really don't need the teachers book at this level.

This is a great book we started it about a week ago and my son is doing great in it. I wasn't sure about it being real colorful, some say their children don't deal well with all the colors but we like it. I'll say ok now do the blue one, since the problems are not numbered they are in sections with several problems per section. So far so good and at this rate I would recommend this to others and use the following grades as well. Great price too.

This book is an awesome supplement for my son! He's in a Christian School where his Kindergarten teacher recommended it for him to help fill in gaps. He's doing multiplication on the side with me, and really enjoys his workbook that has money, odd/even practice, etc. I read somewhere it's laid out in a circular learning way, which is really nice. The bright colors and simple directions let him sit and work alone. He asks to work on it regularly as part of his 'homework'.

I didn't want to jump into an expensive package, so I bought just the workbook. My daughter is almost 5 1/2 and a homeschooler, she is doing great with this book. She loves writing her name at the top and the directions are easy to follow. To be honest, its almost too easy and its no hassle for mom.
